So You Wanna Model?

I put an ad up on Craigslist last night offering free professional photos to any female in NYC.

The criteria: The model is to be clothed, will not be compensated, and must send me a photo of herself first.

The results were pretty surprising. I received roughly 10 replies. Some had modeling experience, some had been in advertising, some wanted their 15 year old daughters to get a start, some wanted to skip the foreplay and get down to business.

There were three models who most caught my eye because they were 1) pretty 2) seemed to have low expectations. Only one of the three used proper English. Here is the winner of the November model search:

Emily Sinnott (above) has modeled in the past and would like current professional pics of herself. I hope she was not scared off by my reply e-mail, which had all the confidence of a baby lion, before meeting the warthog and meerkat. I think she's some sort of artist, since her pants and shirt are so colorful. I sometimes say I'm an artist, but I usually wear black. I guess those are the two wardrobe choices for artists.

Update: When searching for her name, this page is the number one result on Google. Give her a job, and I'd like some work too, please.
